Our Philosophy

Southern Events’ success has come from the company’s attention to detail and work ethic. While Southern Events does not act as full-fledged event planners per-se, they are careful to make sure that their rentals fit seamlessly with the rest of the event. The staff are familiar with many of the venues in Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville and therefore have a very good idea of how rentals (tables, chairs etc.) will fit into different spaces. In addition, they have good relationships with various vendors and can make sound recommendations for clients. They strive to be in synch with other vendors because they know it makes it easier and less stressful for everyone.

Southern Events has simplified planning by inviting clients to their showroom. With true southern hospitality at heart, Southern Events lets clients try-on their event ideas in their showroom located at 101 Alpha Drive near historic downtown Franklin.

You can tell that they care about their clients because they are willing to take time to help clients plan what products to rent. They strive for clients to get exactly what they need, even if that means encouraging them to rent fewer tables and chairs.

Supporting Our Community

As a company local to Franklin, Southern Events is a proud representation of the Williamson County spirit.  As a small, family-owned business, the owners are passionate about their clients and their community. The Coles support Franklin-based businesses and understand the perseverance and dedication it takes to run a small company.

Southern Events should be recognized for their service to the community. They donate a lot of time and energy to support local non-profit groups. In-kind gifts to these non-profits resonates what it means to be a community. Southern Events has strong ties with the Heritage Foundation and their preservation work. They have also been a part of many fundraising events over the years including Bridges Gala, Three Blind Vines, fundraisers for “Save the Franklin Theater” and many more.
